THIRD ARTIST ANNOUNCE IS HERE!
THE SMASHING PUMPKINS have created one of the most acclaimed bodies of work in musical history having sold more than 30 million albums, and won multiple Grammy Awards in the process. Having recently released the first of 2 new albums (Monuments to an Elegy), fans can anticipate the release of the second album (Day For Night) in 2015, according to singer/guitarist Billy Corgan. In what promises to be an absolutely killer set from THE SMASHING PUMPKINS, Billy Corgan had this to say on joining the Soundwave 2015 line-up:
“The thing about Soundwave that sticks out amongst a lot of other festivals is that when you look at the bill you say, ‘that’s an exciting show’ and I think it’s very fan-focused. This is the kind of bill if I was looking as a fan I’d say, ‘I wanna see what’s going on at this show’.”
STEEL PANTHER was, for a long time, rock’s best-kept secret: a cult legend on the LA scene. But in recent years due to the success of their albums and live shows, the band has enjoyed huge acclaim from fans and peers alike. STEEL PANTHER has been joined on stage by rock and roll icons such as Steven Tyler of Aerosmith, Paul Stanley of KISS, Corey Taylor of Slipknot, Tom Morello of Rage Against The Machine, Chester Bennington of Linkin Park and Green Day to name a few (who knows who will join the lads on stage during Soundwave 2015!).

Soundwave Festival 2015 is proud to confirm that NONPOINT will be returning to Australia in FEBRUARY 2015. After 17 years in the game, the Florida quintet still know how to deliver riff cracks with neck-snapping intensity, a bass and drum forge of unmatched groove and vocals that recount stories of pain and perseverance. The recent release of the bands eighth studio album “THE RETURN” is a raw, ripping and a very real record.

The band were just about to hit Australia for a September national tour but due to issues with their promoter were forced to cancel leaving thousands of fans disappointed! MONUMENTS
UK’s MONUMENTS bring new life to the progressive metal scene. They push the envelope with complex instrumental metal grooves and are the fourth band to be announced on the Soundwave Festival 2015 line-up.
Now with Chris Barretto (ex-Periphery, Ever Forthright) on vocals, they have forged their own path staying ahead of the pack with their mind-bendingly progressive tech-metal artisanship. BUTCHER BABIES
Hailing from the City Of Angels, BUTCHER BABIES offer redemption from the overplayed underground, exorcising internal demons with a visceral sound matched only in scope by their explosive stage show. BUTCHER BABIES are set to bring their high-energy live show to Australia as the third band added to the Soundwave Festival 2015 line-up.
Frontwomen Heidi Shepherd and Carla Harvey, guitarist Henry Flury, bassist Jason Klein and drummer Chris Warner juxtapose brutal, aggressive riffs with beautiful melodies that wail with anguish and a shattering stand for the message at hand.

The five-piece began their unstoppable journey in late 2009 and after years of the bands relentless grind, world tours, humble determination and a ferocious debut album; BUTCHER BABIES are seemingly an unrestrained force to be reckoned with.
PATENT PENDING
PATENT PENDING is an acrobatic gang of musical misfits from Long Island, New York. With a never-say-die attitude and enough live energy to power Times Square, they are the second band to be added to the Soundwave Festival 2015 line-up.
Growing in size from basements to amphitheaters, from VFW Halls to sell out headlining shows in the United Kingdom, their live shows are psychotically fun and dramatically moving. Bowling For Soup gave them an opening spot on their massive UK tour in 2012, which led the band to return for multiple headlining tours and earned them a spot on DOWNLOAD FESTIVAL with the likes of Slipknot and Iron Maiden.

COLDRAIN
Nagoya rockers COLDRAIN have already made their mark in becoming a household name in their home country Japan and after building their international footprint with their blistering live show, Soundwave are thrilled to announce COLDRAIN on the Soundwave Festival 2015 line-up ahead of their debut international album, The Revelation out August 8.
After already conquering Japan, COLDRAIN have set their sights on the rest of the world with their massive riffs, brutal breakdowns and their energetic, high-energy live show.
They’ve toured with metal titans Bullet For My Valentine in February/March 2014, co-headlined the completely sold out Monster Energy Outburn Tour with Crossfaith and Miss May I, then continued on to perform sets around the globe at the likes of Download Festival (UK) and Rock am Ring/Im Park (Germany) and performed at Japan’s major rock festivals including Summer Sonic, Rock In Japan, as well as Ozzfest Japan.
