Hilltop Hoods New Album “Fall From The Light”

Hilltop Hoods New Album “Fall From The Light”

After six years of anticipation, one of the country’s most enduring music forces, HILLTOP HOODS,are making a massive return with the announcement of their new album, FALL FROM THE LIGHT. The album will be the band’s ninth studio album and is set to be released Friday August 1st(through Island Records/UMA)

Produced by One Above with additional production by Sesta and Suffa, Fall From The Light was recorded in Adelaide, Darwin, Melbourne and New Zealand. The 12-track album features the 2025 lead single ‘The Gift’ feat. Marlon’, recent fan-favourite single ‘Don’t Happy, Be Worry’ and the Gold accredited ‘Laced Up’.

Additional collaborations on Fall From The Light include New Zealand group SIX60 and Australian songstress
Nyassa.

“This album has been an exercise in patience. Six years is a long time between albums, but there’s a good reason for that. There was a lot happening, in the world and in our lives. But it turns out (from my perspective anyway), that time was the albums strength, not its weakness. We’ve never been so thorough, so pedantic with an album before. The result is something that’s been carefully crafted with an extreme attention to detail. It’s an album that we’re really proud of, and a body of music that we can’t wait to share with everyone.” – Suffa

“We really took our time with this one. We put more years into it than any other of our albums because we wanted it to be our best work to date. Putting it out after so long feels more monumental and exciting than ever.” – Pressure

“After the longest period between albums, I’m so proud to be able to finally release this body of work to our listeners…and really can’t wait to deliver these new tunes live” – DJ Debris
