Chet Faker ‘Thinking In Textures’ Goes Gold in Australia

Chet Faker’s debut release Thinking In Textures has gone GOLD in Australia.

Chet Faker joins a long list of independent artists released through Remote Control who have achieved gold and platinum sales, including Adele, Radiohead, The National, The xx, The White Stripes, Vampire Weekend, Thom Yorke, M.I.A, Interpol, The Pixies, The Prodigy & Basement Jaxx.

Since the release of Thinking In Textures, Chet has sold out shows across Australia, appeared at the Sydney Opera House as part of the Vivid Live Festival, played the Meredith and Laneway Festivals, and toured consistently in Europe, the UK and the USA.

In 2012 Chet Faker was nominated for 5 Jagermeister Independent Music Awards, winning Best Independent Single/EP and Breakthrough Independent Artist.
