An Evening With Bam Margera

Get ready for a raw, funny and completely uncensored night with one of the most recognisable characters to emerge from the skate, punk and MTV era, as BAM MARGERA brings An Evening With Bam Margerato Australia this November for three exclusive nights.

Kicking off in Brisbane at Powerhouse on November 3, the intimate evening will roll through Sydney’s Factory Theatre on November 4, before finishing up in Melbourne at Thornbury Theatre on November 5.

Tickets go on sale on Thursday 24 September at 9am AEST, with presales kicking off today at 9am AEST.

Joining Bam on stage will be longtime friend and collaborator Joe Frantz, the filmmaker and producer behind Viva La Bam, CKY, Jackass and countless skate and punk projects, for a deeply personal trip through the people, places, bands and chaos that shaped Bam’s extraordinary career.

Together, Bam and Joe will go back to the beginning from the early CKY days and the skate scene that changed everything, through Jackass, Viva La Bam and the explosion of Bam’s career into the mainstream.

“I’m fuckin’ stoked to be coming to Australia this November,” enthuses Bam. “I’m gonna be telling some stories and talking about some of the craziest shit from that whole time in my life. And having Joe Frantz with me makes it even better because we’ve got a bunch of footage and stuff you guys have never seen.

“Skate demos, Viva La Bam stunts, touring with the bands, all the stupid shit we got ourselves into, and a bunch of stuff we filmed that never even made it onto TV. Can’t wait to see you guys down there. It’s gonna be fuckin’ wild.”

But this isn’t a greatest-hits show. Joe will dig into the stories behind the people and moments audiences never got to see, with never-before-seen footage from his personal archives bringing some of those unforgettable years back to life on the big screen.

Expect stories about the friends and characters who surrounded Bam, the bands he idolised and played with, life on the road, the wildest moments of the skate and punk scene, and what it was really like behind the cameras of some of the most iconic shows and films of the era.

Bam will also speak openly about drugs, addiction, the consequences of that lifestyle and coming through the other side – an honest conversation about the highs, lows and everything in between.
