The Jezabels – New Single & Video Time to Dance
Too few bands inspire listeners to dance from dusk until dawn – but The Jezabels with their own brand of bold pop have never had that problem.
Their latest single ‘Time to Dance’ from their latest album ‘The Brink’ has been getting people up and moving across the globe in the past couple of months, from the muddy fields of last weekend’s Glastonbury Festival, to London Calling Fest, T In The Park, their recent highly successful headline-tour across Australia, to Montreaux Jazz Festival, Firefly Festival and New York’s legendary Bowery Ballroom and all points in between.
It’s only fitting that the video – featuring a fascinating serpentine dancer moving in perfect sync to ‘Time to Dance‘s soaring melody – was filmed in the city that never sleeps. Rich guitars, synth-hooks and thundering drums build the perfect back drop for Hayley Mary’s hypnotic voice.
The Jezabels return to Australia to play the sold out Splendour in the Grass later this month, with a headline slot at Queenscliff Music Festival at the end of November.
