Little May Release Studio 301 ‘Bones’ Recording

Amidst critical acclaim for their first international tour – which saw them named in CMJ’s 11 Bands You Should Know as well as a staple on the most discerning ‘best of’ lists, Little May had barely touched down on home soil before joining Rodriguez on his national tour.

This November and December, the outfit is set to spellbind audiences around the country and have announced HOWQUA as opening act for their recently extended Australian tour.

Before heading off to London, NYC and LA, Little May performed a live recording of their new single ‘Bones’ at Sydney’s iconic Studios 301.

The Studios 301 footage was directed by Nick Hunter and recorded and mixed by Simon Todkill. Studios 301’s services have been used by legendary musicians ranging from The Jezabels and Angus & Julia Stone to Lana Del Rey, David Bowie, Elton John, Bob Dylan, Stevie Nicks and more.

Set to release his debut EP ‘Naked EP’ this month HOWQUA will take to the stage following his own headline tour and a support spot for Midlake earlier this year. The Melbourne singer/songwriter will open for the support acts, Central Coast busking duo Winterbourne for the majority of the tour and celestial Sydney five-piece I Know Leopard on 28 November

Little May have quickly earned a reputation for their emotionally connective, charged lyrics and smoldering hooks that have set them apart from many emerging bands.

No strangers to some of the country’s biggest stages, Little May have earned their live-set stripes at Splendour in The Grass, Laneway Festival and BigSound as well as supporting the likes of Stockholm-based, pop-sweetheart Mikhael Paskalev as well as Cold War Kids at Rough Trade on their recent NYC tour.
