Set in a dystopian futuristic city, the video once again features a cameo appearance from Finn’s theatrical muse Kirin J Callinan.

“Being a big fan of post-apocalyptic films and digital worlds of unrealities, creating a visual counterpart to ‘Burn Up The Road‘ was a no-brainer.

Together with my theatrical muse Kirin J Callinan and NZ’s DIY video enigma director Simon Ward we created an uber-speed motorcycle race between the two last standing human competitors in a futuristic death match.

Once partnered in crime and now arch-rivals Phoenix and Cymbeline have the ultimate showdown to end all showdowns.” – Liam Finn

Liam Finn & I have a history. Both natural athletes, we take delight in pushing each other to the extreme ends of our extremities in a myriad of competitive arenas. The race track is no exception. His spirited song ‘Burn Up The Road‘ was crying out for us to strap ourselves back into our hot seats, so to speak and that’s exactly what we did. I hope you enjoy our animated performances as much as we do.” – Kirin J Callinan

Burn Up The Road’ is taken from Liam Finn’s album “The Nihilist” – out now via Create/Control.
