Could this spell the last hope for Perth Soundwave?

VenuesWest Chairman Graham Partridge OAM said he was delighted to welcome Soundwave to Arena Joondalup.

This event is rapidly becoming one of the biggest and best festivals in Australia

Mr Partridge said.

With a line up including Green Day and Placebo as well Australia’s finest live rock act The Living End, the festival may well be a sell out again as it was in 2013

he said.

With Big Day Out and Future Music already at Arena Joondalup the venue is proving itself to be one of the top festival locations in Australia.

The addition of Soundwave means more than 100,000 people are expected to attend Arena Joondalup for festivals in 2014.

This is great news for both young and old music fans in Perth and particularly for the northern Perth suburbs local economy.

VenuesWest is Western Australia’s provider of premier sports, recreation and entertainment venues and its portfolio includes the new and world class Perth Arena, the redeveloped state of the art NIB Stadium and the new Perth Stadium.
