Mass of the Fermenting Dregs Venue Upgrade for Melbourne + Sold Out Sydney

With months still remaining until their debut Australian tour, the demand for Japanese alt-rock group MASS OF THE FERMENTING DREGS has continued to grow!

After upgrading shows in Melbourne and Sydney back when the shows were first announced, the band’s show at Sydney’s Metro Theatre on Friday 5 February is now officially sold out.

For fans in Melbourne, another chance to secure tickets is now available, with a final venue upgrade moving the show set for Saturday 6 February, from the Northcote Theatre to The Forum. This will be the absolute last chance to see Mass Of The Fermenting Dregs in Melbourne – fans are encouraged to be quick in snapping these ones up!

With final tickets remaining for the band’s show in Brisbane at The Triffid on Thursday 4 February, the clock is running down on the opportunities to catch one of Japan’s most innovative and high-energy bands live.

Inspired by artists including The Smashing Pumpkins, The Wedding Present and Sugar, the trio – also known as Masu Dore (マスドレ) – released their first project back in 2008. Since the release of that self-titled EP, the band has released four studio records including No New World (2018), Awakening:Sleeping (2022) and 2024’s Live In Japan record. Most recently, Mass Of The Fermenting Dregs have celebrated the release of their new EP, Iwaou.
