Little Birdy Announce 21st Anniversary Tour

Tickets on sale Friday March 21 via Little-Birdy

Heading across the country for a run of shows from June-August, frontwoman Katy Steele is reuniting with original members Simon Leach and Scott O’Donoghue to bring BigBigLove to life like never before—performing the album in full alongside a handpicked selection of fan-favourite classics that shaped their legacy.

To mark this milestone, Little Birdy will also be releasing BigBigLove on vinyl for the first time ever—a limited-edition 12” pressing featuring an extra 7” single with two exclusive bonus tracks, including an unreleased version of ‘Beautiful To Me.

From their humble beginnings in the Perth music scene to dominating national and global stages, Little Birdy captured hearts with their soaring melodies, raw emotion, and anthemic indie-rock energy. Their debut album became a defining release of the early 2000s—anchored by unforgettable tracks like “Relapse” and “Beautiful To Me” which landed at # 8 on Triple J Hottest 100 and helped propel the band to stardom.

The album debuted at #5 on the ARIA charts, achieved Platinum status, and spawned a sold-out national tour that saw fans singing every word in packed venues across Australia.

With its brooding, heart-on-sleeve lyricismfuzzy guitars, and soul-stirring vocalsBigBigLove remains one of the most beloved Australian albums of its time. Tracks like ‘Beautiful To Me’, ‘Relapse’, and ‘Tonight’s the Night’ became essential listening—played on repeat in bedrooms, at house parties, and on festival stages across the country.

Little Birdy’s rise was nothing short of meteoric. From early gigs at The Rosemount Hotel, the band quickly became one of Australia’s most exciting live acts, landing coveted slots at Big Day Out, Falls Festival, Groovin The Moo, and Homebake, and even taking their music to New York and London.

They shared the stage with some of the biggest names in music, supporting acts like REM, Bright Eyes, and Placebo, plus being supported by Tegan & Sara. Their impact was undeniable, earning them five ARIA nominations, multiple charting singles, and an enduring fanbase that still treasures their music today.
