‘Night Raver’ comes off the back of their critically acclaimed self-titled debut LP (Nov 2021) and features new single ‘Names Of The Plague’, presenting lyrics from award-winning UK poet (and proud uncle of Gareth Liddiard) Ian Duhig and showcasing the musical talents of Drones alumni, Dan Luscombe on baritone guitar.
‘Night Raver’ also features a Springtime reworking of ‘The Radicalisation of D’, from Liddiard’s 2010 solo LP, ‘Strange Tourist’. And a studio recording of ‘Penumbra’, which fans got a listen of as a live release in early 2021.

“a vexing and visceral cut of alt-rock fused with elements of free jazz, the soundscape growing more cluttered and intense as Liddiard takes aim” –NME
“every ounce as brilliant as any of their other projects, Liddiard’s hectic, frazzled vocals are the perfect match for a gloomy and dramatic backing.” –The Quietus
“guitar fuzz and piano that gradually whips itself into an apocalyptic frenzy beneath Liddiard’s increasingly unhinged vocals.” –Stereogum
“coming together of three old hands and kindred spirits at a time when everything around them (and us) was coming apart.” –UNCUT
“a sublime chaos…Springtime’s music feels free, but never carefree, full of spontaneity, acidity and momentum sputtering in a thousand different, noisy directions at once” –Wire Magazine
