Psyched as. Forever Festival Returns With Huge Lineup

Trusted D.I.Y tastemakers Psyched As. today announce the return of Psyched As. Forever, a festival held to honour the life and legacy of Richard ‘Millsy’ Mills who tragically passed away in 2022.

Off the back of a sold out event in 2023, Psyched As. Forever returns bigger and better with 15 bands + DJs across two stages headlined by C.O.F.F.I.N. and DARTZ (NZ), plus see the long-awaited return of Sydney psych lords Los Tones.

Joining the lineup will be a stack of local favourites including Straight Arrows, Babitha, Sunscreen, Arse, Flight to Dubai, Salarymen, Dead Witch, Forest Hall, PEEL, Lady Lyon and Misty Lanes. Plus a set from the notorious Psyched As House Band, DJs, pizzas by Pizza Mici and pop up tattoos from Thanks Tattoo.

In true Psyched As ‘D.I.Y.’ style, this year’s event will be held at The Sydney Portugal Community Club on Saturday, January 27th. On what would have been Millsy’s 38th birthday, January 27th not only marks the biggest Psyched As Forever Festival to date, but a day to remember a friend, a bandmate, a colleague, a beer rep, local music icon and all round legend.

Born out of legendary house parties and Sydney’s underground, Psyched As. started with just an idea in a shop front that quickly grew into a brand name synonymous with the local music scene. Since 2016, Psyched As. have been throwing events around Sydney earning themselves a reputation as dependable tastemakers and purveyors of good times.

Held on the weekend of Millsy’s birthday, Psyched As. Forever promises to celebrate the joy, love and excitement he brought to so many lives – through music, community and good times. Tickets are just $60 + BF, with a portion of the proceeds donated to the Bula’Bula Arts Centre in Ramingining, an Indigenous art centre and community where Millsy was also well loved.
