Nucleust have taken out the Heavy/Metal song of the year award at WA’s premier song competition WAM! (West Australian Music)
The award was for the track Of King And Tree which comes off of their 2016 EP Resistivity.

Held at the WA Maritime Museum in Fremantle on May 17th, the event celebrated some of Western Australia’s top artists which included categories in a wide range of genres from rock, blues, hip hop, country and metal.

The band comment: “We would like to thank WAM and the judges for giving us this award. Also thanks Matthew from Templeman Audio and Simon from Forensic Audio for recording, mixing and mastering this track, Davide from Eklipse Media for
making the killer video, Chris from Maric Media for spreading the word to the masses as our publicist and Nas for doing all the accompanying artwork for this release as well as our previous ones! Special thanks to our loving partners for being there for us through it all.

We would also like to take this opportunity to mention a very important person in our band who is our awesome manager and best friend of ours, Andrew from The Rockpit. He has been a strong supporter of ours since the conception of
the band and we have been fortunate to have him joined the team just over a year ago. Thank you for your commitment and passion for Nucleust. Also congratulation to all bands who were nominated in different categories.

Finally, massive thanks to our fans and friends, and thanks to everyone for your support!”
