Boy & Bear Sell Out UK Dates

Boy & Bear will soon be commencing their UK/EU and US/CAN tour, which includes performances at SXSW in Austin.

They have already sold out all their UK shows and upgraded a number of venues in Canada due to popular demand.

The boys have also been receiving extensive radio airplay overseas, having been added to BBC1 and BBC6 in the UK, while The Guardian has given the album 4 out of 5 stars. In the US, ‘Southern Sun‘ has been the #1 most added track on non-commercial radio, #2 most added track to the key Triple A format and the #5 most added track to College radio.

Last month the band landed two songs in triple j’s Hottest 100 countdown of 2013, with ‘Southern Sun’ coming in at #41, while ‘Harlequin Dream’ got the 55th spot! ‘Three Headed Woman’ was also named #139 in the Hottest 200 countdown.

The 5th Annual Rolling Stone Awards will be held next month and Boy & Bear are up for the Album of the Year Award, as well as Live Act of the Year. ‘Southern Sun’ was also nominated for the Readers’ Choice Award for Australian Song of the Year. 2014 is shaping up nicely for the guys!
