The Smashing Pumpkins’The World Is A Vampire Festival kicks off in just under two weeks time!
The festival boasts some very special guests including alt-rock legends, Jane’s Addiction and killer Aussie rock from Amyl & The Sniffers, RedHook and Battlesnake.
PLUS each show will feature professional wrestling matches between Billy Corgan’s NWA(National Wrestling Alliance) and the WAOA (Wrestling Alliance of Australia).
Shows in Sydney and Melbourne have SOLD OUT with very limited numbers of tickets remaining for all others.
On several of the shows, some incredibly luckily bands have been chosen to open.

The Smashing Pumpkins were one of the most commercially successful and critically acclaimed bands of the 1990s, often cited as one of the most influential acts in alternative rock.

NWA vs the Wrestling Alliance of Australia (WAOA)
The National Wrestling Alliance (NWA), owned by Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan, is sending some of its biggest stars to battle top Australian wrestlers at each of the festival locations. Originally founded in 1948, the NWA has been a cornerstone of professional wrestling on a global scale for generations as a promotion and a governing body. Under Corgan’s leadership, the NWA is reaching new heights in the sport and is growing an international fan base.
Featured talents include NWA Women’s World Champion Kamille, NWA World Tag Team Champions Bestia 666 & Mecha Wolf, NWA World Junior Heavyweight Champion Kerry Morton, Natalia Markova, Thom Latimer, Mercurio, Missa Kate and much more.
