Born in North West Wales, 22-year-old producer Koreless (aka Lewis Roberts) has been raised by Glasgow’s LuckyMe and Numbers crews and welcomed into the Young Turks family by Jamie xx himself, releasing 2013’s breakthrough EP Yūgen on the iconic London-based label. Renowned for suspended melodies and drum-less patterns that have reshaped dance-floor mechanics to euphoric effect, The Guardian has praised Koreless for his “lovely timbres and textures” while Pitchfork pegged Yūgen as the young prodigy’s most significant release to date. With honours from the likes of Sepalcure, Mount Kimbie and Mark Pritchard, Koreless’ ambient-imbued physicality recalls John Carpenter and Philip Glass and has propelled him on a worldwide festival tour that this year includes Longitude, Latitude, Open Source, Sonar and Vivid LIVE.

Adding his smooth touch to remixes for The Weeknd, Cashmere Cat, Ciara and R. Kelly, the Paris-born and Barcelona-based Stwo follows his breakout year with his first release for the L.A-based HW&W imprint – home to LIZ, Sweater Beats and Australia’s own Ta-ku. Lifting pitch-shifted melodies from R ‘n’ B greats onto a bed of breezy hip-hop instrumentals, the 21-year-old Frenchman will ring in his Australian debut with over a million hits to his touch up of Sango’s ‘Middle of Things, Beautiful Wife‘.

Basenji is the Sydney-born and based producer also known as Sebastian Carlos, one of Future Classic’s fast risers. Basenji joins local contemporaries Cashmere Cat, Wave Racer and Cosmo’s Midnight and makes feel-good electronic music that is as clever as it is irresistible. Critically acclaimed by Triple J and named ‘an artist to watch in 2014’ by Purple Sneakers, this year has so far witnessed Basenji’s track ‘Dawn’ included in the latest Ministry of Sound release FUT.UR.ISM 2.0 alongside Future Classic’s Flume.

With two sold-out Vivid LIVE studio parties under their belt, Future Classic’s latest Vivid LIVE venture is not to be missed.
