Dutch groove explorers YĪN YĪN have expanded their debut Australian tour! The band will play a headline show at Melbourne’s Croxton Bandroom on November 22.
YĪN YĪN will bring their celebrated fourth album Yatta! to stages around the country in November with headline shows in Sydney, Melbourne, Mullumbimby and Brisbane, alongside festival stops at Strawberry Fields in Tocumwal and Town Folk Festival in Castlemaine.
Currently in the middle of a European summer run that’s taken them to some of the most picturesque venues across the continent, the Maastricht quartet continue to build on a sound that pulls from disco, funk, psychedelia and Southeast Asian influences, all grounded by an irresistible, steady groove.
Yatta! is described as their most cohesive work yet. The album leans into Italo disco textures, warped guitar lines and club-ready rhythms, while still offering moments for deeper, more introspective listening. It is a record crafted equally for dancing and for getting lost in the music.
Over the past few years, YĪN YĪN earned a reputation as an essential live act, consistently playing to packed venues across Europe, Asia, and the US. Their upcoming Australian tour will feature both their celebrated new material and a deeper dive into their expansive catalogue.
