Miami Horror, Sneaky Sound System & Bag Raiders announced for Live At The Gardens 2025

Get ready to dance, Melbourne! MIAMI HORROR make their long-awaited live return to Australia on the heels of their latest album, We Always Had Tomorrow, coming straight to Live At The Gardens for an electrifying night under the stars, joined by very special guests SNEAKY SOUND SYSTEM and BAG RAIDERS. With full live sets from three of Australia’s most popular party-starters, audiences can expect a euphoric evening of dancefloor anthems, chart-topping hits and non-stop indie-dance magic. Join the party at the Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne on Saturday 29 November.

All three artists were recently named in Rolling Stone Australia’s list of the “50 Greatest Australian Electronic Acts of All Time” – testament to their influence and enduring popularity.

Roundhouse Entertainment, in conjunction with MG Live, is thrilled to present this unforgettable night at Live At The Gardens, set in the heart of the city in the stunning surrounds of Melbourne’s iconic Royal Botanic Gardens. Already announced for Live At The Gardens’ November series are ROCKWIZ LIVE IN 2025THE LIVING ENDFRANZ FERDINAND and SONGS FROM THE CANYON.

Also joining the party are DJs AROHA and JOEY LIGHTBULB.

Blurring the lines between indie-pop, electronic and disco, MIAMI HORROR are renowned for their lush, nostalgic sound and kaleidoscopic live shows. This year marks the 15th anniversary of their Top 10 debut album Illumination, featuring live favourites SometimesI Look To You (featuring Kimbra) and Holidays. Led by Australian-born, LA-based producer Benjamin Plant, MIAMI HORROR returned earlier this year with their first studio album in nine years, We Always Had Tomorrow, incorporating disco and soul influences and reaffirming the band’s place as one of Australia’s most imaginative and enduring live acts. As Double J declared, It’s excellent to have Miami Horror back – as interesting, playful and danceable as ever!” With well over 200 million streams, and performances at some of the biggest festivals around the world, they remain a live favourite, bringing their feel-good grooves and vibrant energy to every stage they grace.

SNEAKY SOUND SYSTEM remain one of Australia’s most in-demand live acts, with bonafide club classics UFOPictures and I Love It still filling dancefloors. Since forming in 2004, SNEAKY SOUND SYSTEM’s Miss Connie and Angus McDonald have become Australian dance music icons, earning multiple ARIA, AIR and MTV Awards, along with global acclaim. Their self-titled debut album achieved triple platinum status and spent more than 60 weeks in the ARIA Top 50, with follow-up, 2, debuting at number one on the ARIA Albums chart. Earlier this year, the duo returned with Shiver, a shimmering showcase of Connie’s soaring vocals and Angus’s production mastery – a shining reminder of their lasting appeal and knack for creating tunes that start the party … and keep it going!

Australian dance royalty BAG RAIDERS have been at the forefront of electronic music since their 2010 self-titled debut on Modular Records, which spawned global smash Shooting Stars and hit singles Way Back HomeSunlight and Snake Charmer. The duo, Jack Glass and Chris Stracey, have continued to push boundaries with acclaimed albums, EPs and collaborations. With over 4 billion online streams, Shooting Stars has gone multi-platinum in 26 countries, including 7x platinum in Australia and 4x platinum in the United States. In 2023, global pop icon Troye Sivan sampled Shooting Stars on his smash hit Got Me Started, which earned a Grammy nomination for Best Dance Pop Recording and a number of nominations at the ARIA and APRA Awards. Since then BAG RAIDERShave collaborated with Boston Bun (SAVE ME) and Panama (Flowers), released summer banger Hold Me, and came in at number 46 on Triple J’s ‘Hottest 100 Australian Songs’ of all time, making them one of Australia’s most iconic electronic exports.

Fresh from a dream-making set at Glastonbury, AROHA is a genre-blurring Māori DJ and producer from Aotearoa, igniting dancefloors in Naarm (Melbourne) and around the world. Renowned for her bold, high-energy sets and acclaimed productions, including the viral protest anthem Let Her Rip (Toitū Te Tiriti), she’s supported icons from Grace Jones to Groove Armada, reshaping dancefloors on her own terms.

JOEY LIGHTBULB is on a heater. The Naarm-based selector has completed a Winter of Disco Content tour selling out Castlemaine, Barwon Heads, Northcote Social Club and a ridiculous fifth show at The Night Cat in Fitzroy. He’s the name on everyone’s lips, owning dance floors and moving hips.

Showcasing three of Australia’s most popular electronic acts, this triple-threat lineup promises a feel-good celebration of Australian dance music at its finest and will have you dancing all night from start to finish. Don’t miss this rare chance to catch MIAMI HORRORSNEAKY SOUND SYSTEM and BAG RAIDERS perform full live sets, under the stars at Melbourne’s Royal Botanic Gardens on Saturday 29 November.
