Kirin J Callinan Upcoming Australian & Nz Show Dates
2013 saw Australia’s most charismatic and confronting musician Kirin J Callinan give birth to his long-awaited and highly anticipated debut album Embracisim.
The album drew critical praise and intrigue from media both locally & internationally for its dangerous lyrics and intense musical composition and has been shortlisted for the the 9th Annual Coopers AMP (Australian Music Prize).
The closing months of 2013 saw Kirin J feature heavily in end of year lists for songs & albums of the year including ranking at #1 in The Vines Top 25 Songs Of 2013 for his track ‘Love Delay‘. Kirin was also personally asked by Neil Finn to join him on stage for his very special Falls Festival New Years Eve performance.
Now that the summer months have finally joined us Kirin will return to Australia to play his first shows in the country since launching his album last year. He will join the immensely eclectic lineup for the St Jerome’s Laneway Festival nationally as well as supporting post-punk revival darlings Savages at their Laneway Festival sideshows.
