On Friday night a Melbourne band called The Getaway Plan hit the stage at the metro in Sydney Australia.

The Getaway Plan are a four piece band with members Clint Owen Ellis, Dan Maio, Matthew Wright and Mike Maio.

The Getaway Plan play alternative metal and their guitar riffs and singing they sounded amazing to everyone in the venue.

The Getaway Plan formed in 2004, they brought out their first LP in 2008. Their album Other Voices, Other Rooms reached number one on the AIR Charts and number 14 on the ARIA Albums Charts in 2008 .

The Getaway Plan did 2 sets during their gig. The fans were yelling “The Getaway Plan” as they eagerly awaited for them to come on stage. In the first set they played songs from their albums Dark Horses, Hold Conversation and Requiem, the crowd was singing dancing and really excited to see their favourite band live.

The Getaway Plan played nine of their songs from their album Other Voices, Other Rooms in their second set and it blew fans minds it was the set that everyone had been waiting for!

The first song of their second set was Streetlight and you could tell everyone was really excited to hear the second half of the set with their faviorte songs being played that were relased in 2008. Where The City Meets The Sea was the most popular song of the night everyone got out their phones to record the song you knew that this was the song that people wanted to see the most and they recorded it so they can watch it again and again so the memory lives on forever.
